The content is based on original correspondence from the years of World War II in the form of postal items, most of which passed through German censorship. Therefore, it became necessary to present its organization and methods of marking on the parcels because this subject has not been described in the Polish literature so far and the methods of censoring and marking foreign correspondence were fundamentally different from censorship in World War I.

The book contains many interesting details little or not known at all (e.g., "Secrets of the Lisboa Central post office boxes, Caixa Polstal 506 and 512").

All mailings are described in detail with special attention to command marks and censorship marks.
